RD returns with one final piece this year:

In the very last minutes of the month, I send you my final submission this year, the so-called "big one" I wanted to do for years.
The timing felt just right for this one, with Marvel and DC's recent decision to once again play along nicely with each other and bringing back crossovers.
So here's my unofficial pitch for the next big thing: MODOK VS EGG FU!

Obviously based on the cover of the classic Superman VS Amazing Spider-man, with all my apologies and respect to Ross Andru and Dick Giordiano (that background was a bitch), and if I had more time, I might have made an alt.version with the modern iterations of the characters, and even tossed in some simple colors as well, but it is what it is now, hope you 
like it in all it's rough sketchiness.

I wanted to do at least one more MODOK before the month is over, and against my better judgement decided to recreate a classic panel from The Killing Joke, poorly mimicking the great Brian Bolland.
Oh well, if nothing else, it might inspire others to make their own better versions.

For this one, I wanted to commemorate (possibly slight spoiler?) MODOK's big screen debut, but without doing a straight-up MCU fanart; and then I remembered the infamous Fletcher Hanks and his art, well, one panel in particular. (from this golden age story: https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=37639 ) 

So, here's Giant-man and MODOK in place of Stardust the Super Wizard and De Structo's head, hope you'll like it.

The last RD post of the year!

My last submission before the month is over is this duo of simple, rough sketch feeling images, hope you like them.

Since a Skeletor-MODOK is not that original of an idea, I also included a He-Man / Captain America hybrid (He-Cap), and made sure that their wrestle feels more like some awkward dance routine than an epic struggle.
And then there's HorDOK and a cross between She-Ra and Ms. Marvel (Miss-Ra) in the second image, nothing special there.

RD returns into the MMM fold with a familiar looking piece:

Sorry for arriving this late to the party - I wanted a specific image as my first submission this year, but I still had to finish it.
If you remember, last time I promised an 'advanced version' -or 'deluxe edition'- of my King Kong-inspired piece, which back then I naively thought would be done in no time. Obviously all that built-up momentum was lost in an instant, but for the past year I still kept futzing with it occasionally, and now it's finally finished and looking much more epic than before!
