Submitted MODOK: Rich Werner

Rich from over at PopCap Games sent us this hairy wild eyed version of MODOK which he named "DAVEDOK". He Writes,
I based mine off of Plants Vs Zombies. Since I did all the art on that game I felt it would be funny to do this. My coloring was super fast but I had to get it done.

It looks great Rich, even if you do feel it was super fast work. We appreciate you taking the time to share an image with us in the last hours of MMM2011.

If you'd like to take a look at more of Rich's work check out his SITE!

Submitted MODOK: Mark Barrett

Mark from over at PopCap games sent us this vibrantly colored MODOK.. He's taking a little nap and flying along throuht the skys. Perhaps he's dreaming of the wonders to come in March 2012...who's to say..

Many thanks to Mark for the submission and if you'd like to check out more of his work stop on by his SITE!.

Submitted MODOK: David Ryan Paul

The man with three first names, David Ryan Paul, sends in these exquisite renditions of MODOK, had he been created by the French comic artist, Moebius. Uncertain which color scheme to go with, I decided that it was awesome enough to be represented by both. Beautiful work, Mr. Paul, thank you for your contribution to MMM 2011. To see more choice examples of David's work, please visit his website, as well as his blog.

Submitted MODOK: Monte Michaelis

Monte returns this year with another great submission, this one bringing MODOK face to face with America's sweetheart, Miickey Mouse. We really dig this bizarre pairing and Mickey has never looked so menacing. Monte is an artist for PopCap Games, as well as posing as Eliot Mechanism. You can also view some great work of his at his blog. Thanks for joining in again this year, Monte, we appreciate your continued support.

Submitted MODOK: Rick Schmitz

More great Stooge art, this one from Rick Schmitz, who includes both a LARRYDOK and a CURLYDOK to accompany, who else, but MOEDOK! Awesome piece! Where's the love for SHEMPDOK?

Rick is the studio art director at PopCap Games, a videogame studio that is filled with MODOK fans! We received a lot of submissions late last season from the talented folks at PopCap, the only place of employment where you get in trouble for NOT playing Bejeweled during work hours!

Rick also draws cartoons for his blog, Nearsighted Comics. You sound like a busy guy, Rick, so thanks for taking the time to bang out a great looking MODOK piece for us here at MMM!

Submitted MODOK: Rob McDaniel

Rob McDaniel heard about our blog last year from his co-workers over at PopCap games. It inspired him to send us this Marvelous clay sculpt of our favorite mental organism.
For more of Rob's work visit chaoticmutation, and do make sure to go over to the '3d Clay' section for 360 version of the sculpt that you can drag around and admire from many angles. Mighty fine work.
Rob also mentioned:
"This is guy will be around for a limited time only. When March is over he's getting mashed down into a big clay lump to be sculpt into something else in the future."
So don't delay! Go check it out before march is over and MODOK used the cosmic cube to warp out of here...

Submitted MODOK: Mark Barrett

Mark Barrett, a member of the PopCap Crew, sent us this awesome drawing of MODOK launching himself into flight... Apparently that Hover chair really moves!... Look at the way its warped his toothy grimace, and make note of those awesome teeth!..
Great Modok Mark, I'd like to thank you for your participation in this great year of MODOK Drawings....

Submitted MODOK: Monte Michaelis

Monte Michaelis, is the latest in a long line of PopCap artists to send us a brilliant MODOK picture and comments, "I didn’t know how much I wanted to draw MODOK until I actually started doing it." And its True Monte, MODOK is Infectious, one drawing just isn't enough....
Hopefully we can see some more drawings from you and your PopCap Brethren in 2011..
Thanks for Supporting the MADNESS!!..

Submitted MODOK: David Ryan Paul

MODOK goes Deathmetal! In this great little submission from David over at PopCap Games who writes...
It was inspired by the name, and image of the Black Metal band Marduk. Marduk/Modok...*get it*?! Hehe. He's so metal, he doesn't even need a hover throne.
Because even Modok needs the right music to MINBLAST to.

Submitted MODOK: Noah Maas

This sweet Zombie Modok Comes from, Noah who writes...
I tried to get just about everyone on the art team over at PopCap Games to bust out a Modok piece in time for blog. This is 100% photoshop with a custom brush and some funky screen tone goodness. If anyone is interested in a nice 11x17 print feel free to
email me.
So, if you wanna see more of Noah's work or score this image in a print, drop on by, http://www.notnoah.com/

Submitted MODOK: Rich Werner

Rich sends in this awesome rendition of the MODOK man that he did up in Photoshop and did a beautiful job. He was planning on painting the image on one of his earring plugs but apparently got too detailed! I think it would make a great tattoo. Rich Werner is a talented designer for PopCap Games, the people who brought you Plants Vs. Zombies! Thanks, Rich!
