This is my first ever stained glass. I was able to complete this under the tutelage of Islandesign's own Jen Black. She can be found here, http://www.etsy.com/shop/islandesign and on Facebook. I am pretty sure I am still all fumed out by the solder.

HOLODOK

In 2199 MODOK is still top villian.
His organic body decayed over time, and was replaced with alien artifacts and holographic projection by the scientists at A.I.M.  His hover chair was also remade, out of sleek indestructible black metal  with alloys of Adamantium and Vibranium.  So, look to the future and despair for MODOK looks down on us all with holographic eyes of cold light radiating from a cauldron of smoldering darkness.

MIRO-DOK REDUX

HE IS MIGHTY, AND HE'S ALSO MIGHTY MURDEROUS!!

Shortly after I'd started the other Joan Miro Inspired MODOK I was doing, I had a though.  "I'm just drawing the face here," I said to myself as I set about trying to see if I could work more of MODOK'S mighty features into the image.  I mean how in the world could I pass up the chance to graphically screw around with that Hover chair, thingy.
Granted I could keep noodling with the colors, forever.  But, I'm happy with it like this right now so I'll post it up as is.

Craig creates another mash-up.  He writes:

I just saw the promotional video for the upcoming Disney Channel 'TV Event' (their words) "Phineas & Ferb: MISSION MARVEL" in which the characters from that cartoon meet up with some Marvel superheroes AND supervillains. And guess which Marvel Baddie showed up in TWO promo stills... yep, our March Madman, MODOK.
Which got my brain working. (Always a bad thing) If you didn't know, a major character on Phineas & Ferb is Perry the Platypus, a seemingly quiet pet who sneaks away on secret missions as "Agent P" in most of the episodes' 'B-story'. In Agent P mode, Perry is seriously badass... so he HAD to be the one P&F character I'd put into my old reliable MODOK cutout (from the Mark Palm remake of the Jack Kirby original). And yes, I HAD to make it look like a piece of leaked art from the production (with a big overlaid "NOT")... if you think it better to omit that, I'll send you a 'clean' version, but only if you INSIST.

BTW, it's not easy to make a portmanteau name for this character: PHODOC? Platypus Hybrid Organism Designed for One Cartoon?

Mental Organism Designed Only for Gaming

Some would say that the "Video Game Crash of ‘83" was the result of an oversaturation of crappy-ass video games. In truth, it was the consequence of a major, government crackdown on a little known game designed by MODOK, with its sole purpose to kill fun. Those unlucky enough to have played this abomination have described it thusly: “..as if it wasn’t bad enough, this MODOK game is just a poop-poor re-coding of Dig Dug.”

All physical evidence of this game was buried somewhere in a desert landfill, along with the bodies of said players.

MIRODOK!

Take MODOK add a dash of MIRO....

Mix it all together and you get MIRODOK!,

He's evil and graphical, a visual villain bent on violence.  I'd wanted to do one of these now for a couple of years, in an attempt to do MODOK images in other styles.  It's a departure for me, and I had fun doing it.  Even though I'm not sure I succeeded in capturing the feel of a MIRO in the image.  This here is just a modok head... I've got another one that I hope to finish up by the end of the month.
