Submitted MODOK: Henning Larsen

Long time MODOK contributor Henning has returned with great little stash of art for us to share.

Hailing from Denmark, Mr. Larsen always sends us fun drawings and here's the first of three we'll be sharing.  He mentioned that he'd been gazing deeply into his MODOK Mug and had seen horrific variations on the mental organism, much like this toothsome spider MODOK.

For more work from Henning be sure to visit him at Luchacomico.dk.

"M.O.D.O.K. Coloring Book Style" by Martha Antaya
Like George Washington, "I cannot tell a lie".  This image by Martha makes me wish I HAD a MODOK coloring book, and a colossal box of 64 colors.  Sounds like a great way to spend any afternoon, some coloring and maybe afternoon cartoons.

Many thanks to Martha for the ongoing submissions.

Submitted MODOK: Filipe Homem Fonseca

Filipe made us some MODOK and sent it to us with this sweet body of text that reads,
Hi guys
First of all, congratz for the March MODOK Madness! Modok, mastermind ruler of us all, deserves all we can give him! OBEY!
Now, here's my submission to this years event! I'm a portuguese scriptwriter, director and comedian, with a HUGE love for comics. The first stories I wrote were in comic book form, and I used to spend a lot of time drawing. Sometimes I still do, and the March Madness was a great opportunity to draw again! MODOK is one of my favorite characters of all times, so I'm very happy to be part of this madness! This drawing was made with a rollerball pen and then colored with photoshop. Had a great time doin' it!
We very much applaud Mr. Fonseca for is support and submission.  So be sure to go and check out more of his work over at his BLOG!

Keep up with the MADNESS!

"M.O.D.O.K. Sketch in Clay" by Martha Antaya
Over the years we've received many MODOK images that aren't born on a monitor or a sheet of paper. Personally I get pumped whenever I see one.  So big thanks to Martha for breaking out the clay and showing our beloved mental organism some love.

We've got a couple more posts in from Martha, so keep your eyes on the blog in the days for more.

"Hot Lips M.O.D.O.K." by Wayne Quackenbush
Mr. Quackenbush, owner of Annex Comics in Newport, RI, has been a long time contributor/ supporter of the blog.  Aside from having an awesome name, he's sent us a fat stack of MODOK images.  So, we'll be sharing them in the days to come because it's still March and it's still time for MODOK!

Wayne also hosts 30-Day Art Challenges on the Annex FaceBook page, inviting all walks of life to participate by creating a daily piece from a daily prompt.  March's prompts are in the vain of celebrating March MODOK Madness as well as Bigfoot appreciation.  Check it out here.  If you're in Newport, swing by the Annex (314 Broadway) to check out the art pieces in the windows.  You'll see quite a few MODOKs hanging this month.

Many thanks, Wayne,  and keep on Mindblasting.

Modok surfing big waves at North Canyon, Nazaré Portugal
MODOK hits the big waves in the post submitted by Axelandre.  I'm sure he's riding the tsunami sized wave into a massively populated coastal city for maximum damage.

A Green MODOK.

This grimacing MODOK is going GREEN.
Yep, the mental organism has switched to a diet of cabbage, corned beef, and stout beer for the whole day. His goal is to generate a cloud of pure green death from the exhaust port on his hover seat.  I figures he can make that hole in the ozone layer at least 20 percent wider today.

Have a great St. Paddy's day. Enjoy some drinks but, and care out there.

Submitted MODOK: Benjamin Montag

Ben recently sent us his second MODOK of the season.
Mr. MONTAG reminds us that short arms and leg certainly would be a challenge for our favorite mental organism.  Hopefully he can find some Beekeepers to give him a hand.

Thanks again for sharing a submission with us Ben.
Keep on MINDBLASTING!

The being known as Nacho Moo sent us this science dazzled MODOK.  Personally, I see no reason why this shouldn't hang in every school and library; Science is IMPORTANT.  Also, I think  MODOK is the perfect spokesorganism for science.
