Submitted MODOK: Sebs

Sebs, frequent contributor, has been ripping it up on Twitter! The top piece is MODOH, Mental Organism Designed Only for Healing, sadly inspired by recent trips to the hospital (we hope all is well, Sebs!) The next is MODOC, Mental Organism Designed for Caps, featuring a Mario MODOK without his signature chapeau! And finally we have an adorable Panda MODOK! Awww!

Check out his work here:

Submitted MODOK: Darryl Young

"F.O.D.O.K.: Frankenstein Organism Designed Only for Killing". Hope you like it!
Darryl joins us from the mean mid-western outskirts of Chicago where he practices his trade in animation and illustration industries.  Heck, he even does a dash of toy design for good measure.

He writes,
Hello Fellow M.O.D.O.K.-ians,

Darryl Young here, long time fan, first time contributor. You can find my work on Facebook, instagram, and Etsy. Thanks for keeping the memory of our favorite big headed monstrosity alive!
Not a problem Mr. Young. We're stoked that you joined us this March and thank you for keeping the lights on with this miraculous Mindblast of MODOK art.

Masters Of The Uni-DOK...

ORKO-DOK!
Yep, I got a Masters Of The Universe vibe here so I added some MODOK in an attempt to be all painterly and stuff.
For a Hero, Opted for ORKO.  Ummm, if your looking for an acronym maybe I'll trot out the term ORKODOK: Organism Really Keen On Destruction Obliteration & Killing.  This design lent itself well to MODOK, sure the ears look funny and the hat too come to think of it.  But, the hover chair is completely concealed making the outfit seem more ghostly.

Submitted MODOK: Spud Muther

M.O.D.O.K.T.O.R and W.O.N.G!
Hey MODOK fans!
The man we now know as Spud just wanted to drop a sketch our way as a way of being thankfull for March and its MODOK blog.   He writes,
By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth! It's the Mystical Organism Designed Only for Keeping The Occult Really Strange! And of course, no trip across the fabric of the universe would be complete without the good MODOKTOR's faithful companion W.O.N.G. - his Wise Oracle / Ninja Guard.
Spud also mentions that he is more of a writer than an artist, but this March MODOK called to him.  So it was, that he did break out the art supplies MMM 2013.
If you'd like to catch up with more of Spud Muther's work visit his blog SPUDWRITES.
Also take a peak at the Fantastic-Four-themed wedding gift he made few years ago. read the details on my blog.

Thanks again, Spud for stepping up and sharing some MODOK!

Submitted MODOK: Stephen Moverly

Knit ONE, Pearl TWO...
The Maganificent Mr. Moverly sent us this wonderful image of MODOK indulging in some downtime activity over at A.I.M. HQ.  Steve Writes,
Hey guys,
It's been while! I'm glad to see that March Modok Madness is still going strong.  I'd like to submit the attachment.  I'm calling "Mutant Organism Designed Only for Knitting"
I'd imagine that he uses his powers to make sweaters, mittens, scarves and caps for all the beekeepers.  But, when he's not doing that he's probably cranking out knitted body bags for all his Mindblast victims.

Many thanks Steve, for helping keep the Madness going in 2013!

Submitted MODOK: Carter and Spencer

Carter and Spencer return with some awesome MODOKs this year.  Check it out:

Carter (10) says:

"My picture has Modok trying to cook a hot dog with his head laser.  It came to me when I was looking at the Superhero Squad one-panel comics and thought I'd try my own joke.  I drew it with a pencil, but used Adobe Illustrator to color it."

Spencer (7) says:

"I used colored pencils to make "Mobacca" because it was a mix of Modok and Chewbacca.  It came to me because I was playing Star Wars when we drew it and because I like Chewbacca because he is fuzzy."

Chewbacca IS fuzzy!  Great job, guys!  Thanks for your submissions!

Submitted MODOK: Philip Reed

Where would you hide if you had a big headed bounty hunter on your tail?  The mall?  NO!  Philip writes:
What if MODOK and Boba Fett were one and the same character? I'd like you to meet MOBA FETT, the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter and destroyer. This Mental Organism Built for Annihilation and For Eradicating and Terrorizing Themall was digitally created in Photoshop . . . because I could.

You could and did.  Awesome.  You can see more of Philip Reed's work at www.battlegrip.com.

Submitted MODOK: J. Kantz

This MODOK cutie comes by way of John Kantz who writes:
Hey, I think this art jam is awesome. I totally meant to draw a M.O.D.O.K. last year when one of my co-workers introduced me to your blog, but I forgot. I made sure to get a head start this year. Anyway, I have devised an image as jarring as an actual telekinetic force blast from M.O.D.O.K. himself! Look on and despair at the Mental Organism Designed Only for Kawaiiii.
One of my followers from tumblr - "This was M.O.D.O.K.'s first attempt at being cute. Did you like it? PUNY HUMAN!"

Submitted MODOK: Pete Taylor

Pete, a founder of the Swansea Comics Collective, sends in another MODOK, this one a portrait of Mark "Son of Ken" Hughes, another founder of the SCC. What a stunning tribute! If you find yourself on Uplands and this character comes at you, watch yourself. He's probably up to no good. That's how MOSOK rolls. Thanks, Pete!
