Submitted MODOK: Keith Vincent

We got us this awesome video from the likes of Keith Vincent, longtime friend of the blog.  Keith created this theme song for our very own Mr. MODOK.  Little known fact, MODOK is a multi-faceted type of mental organism.  He's a famous music video star!  They say he's really big in Japan!

You can follow Keith's antics on Instagram and check out his work on his site.

Thanks, Keith!

Submitted MODOK: Fernando Pinto

Another The Line It Is Drawn piece, this one by Fernando Pinto.  With MODOK taking the Ultimate Nullifier as bait, this one pays homage to Nirvana's Nevermind album cover from 1991.

Check out more of Fernando's work at his website.  Thanks, Fernando!

MINI MODOK MUSIC.

Hey MODOK fans,

I'm attaching this fun little link a cohort directed me to online.  It makes awesome little digital music loops by clicking and unclicking these little squares that function like tempo and pitch.
wwwdotsembeodotcom/Matrix.swf

The image above makes a fun little tune you can play in the background while your working on MODOK images.  Thinking about his mighty brain power and his mechanical chair.

KEEP ON MINDBLASTING EVERYBODY.

Submitted MODOK: Mike Whybark

Mike Whybark is in a band... called MODOCK! He submits this video and writes:
Although comics fans, I am not sure we had made a conscious connection
to Modok, the comics character. We certainly did make a conscious
connection to the Modoc, native Americans in southwestern Oregon who
fought one of the last Indian wars. We played out in 1988-1989, and
one of the tunes, a charming ditty about teenage sexual confusion
entitled 'The Lleather,' (yes, a Lloyd Llewellyn reference) was later
covered by the Oblivians, of Memphis TN.

You and your blog readership may enjoy visualizing these tunes as
expressions of Teen Modok's angst and power as performed by Himself
and some minions.

Whether influenced by the MODOK, or by the Modoc, welcome to the Madness, Mike and MODOCK!

Submitted MODOK: Daniel Wagner

Daniel Wagner, renowned guitarist, bassist, vocalist, programmer, and champion dinosaur-fighter for the band Hooray For Gooba, sent our mighty blog a song dedicated to MODOK! It's pretty sweet, if I say so myself! Daniel writes:
I'm a huge fan of MODOK, which is why it makes perfect sense that I wrote a love song to the aforementioned super-villain titled "MODOK, MODOK (Why are you killing everybody?)" and perform it under the name Hooray for Gooba! It's a big hit with the kids, as is MODOK.

As I try to figure out how to post an mp3 on blogger for March MODOK MAdness, for now head over to http://www.myspace.com/hoorayforgooba for more great Hooray For Gooba, including "MODOK, MODOK"! Thanks, Daniel, and toss a dinosaur for me!
